The Rocky Mountain Lions Eye Institute
Foundation
For the advancement of eye research, education
and care at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center at
Fitzsimons
In
1991 a joint venture between the Lions of Colorado and
Wyoming committed $6 million to help build the Rocky Mountain Lions Eye Institute. Through the
vision and funding efforts of the Rocky Mountain Lions Eye Institute Foundation (“RMLEIF”), the Rocky Mountain Lions Eye Institute today stands
as the pinnacle of Lions service to those with serious vision problems in the Rocky Mountain region.
The Rocky Mountain Lions Eye Institute Foundation (“RMLEIF”) is
a nonprofit 501 (c) (3) corporation governed by a Board of Trustees with elected representation from each district of the Lions of Colorado
and Wyoming. The Foundation works in collaboration with Lions Clubs throughout the two
states to support its program and funding needs.
